A couple of weeks ago I spent a brilliant and hilarious afternoon with Kurt Sneddon at Blueprint Studios. My agent had suggested that, post baby, my “look” might be subtly different from the Girl I Used to Be, and that I might be more castable as a commercial “young mum” type.
So I straightened my curly bangs and trekked along – with baby, boyfriend and our mums – to THE MOST FABULOUS photography studio I’ve seen in my life. The cats at Blueprint are very lucky to have managed to secure a most charming old church as their studio space.
Edie was due for a feed by the time I got there, and Kurt was still finishing up with an earlier client, and there’s a couch nicely positioned on the raised platform where the altar used to be, so I can proudly say now that I have been bare-breasted on the most consecrated of grounds!
After the shoot was over, my mum and I went upstairs with Carly from Blueprint to go through the photos and choose a few pages worth to take to my agent to decide on.
A couple of weeks later and we’ve made our choices. Here they are:[ngg_images gallery_ids=”5″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails” gallery_width=”538″ gallery_height=”400″ override_thumbnail_settings=”1″ thumbnail_width=”160″ thumbnail_height=”160″]
I love them.
